Somali Language Nest

Mothers have been expressing concern that their mother tongue Somali, is not being spoken by the new generation. The association in response developed a language nest which was very ably organised by our volunteers who were able to bring together a six part programme which enabled mothers to play and interact with their Children in Somali as well as introduce them to a variety of expert speakers to  empower parents to support children to learn and use the language.
