Our goal is to provide an effective bridge between the Canterbury Somali community and the wider New Zealand Society. In doing so, we seek to promote, protect and enhance the interests of our Community through advocacy, encouragement and enablement of families and individuals.
We want to support the community so that it is outward looking, engaged and enabled to fully participate in our society as proud New Zealanders at the same time encouraging pride in Somali culture. We seek to contribute to our new homeland through the achievement of our people and particularly our youth.
